From sinadya to funeraria: Man shot, dies at neighbor’s birthday party

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A man who was celebrating the birthday of his neighbor in the central Negros town of Isabela was shot by a killer early in the evening yesterday, 12 July 2022.

Police of the town 75 kilometers south of here said the victim, Milky Talanas Flores, 26, was shot several times in the chest around 8pm by the killer in Aguntilang 3, a community in the town’s Riverside 3 village.

Flores died on the spot just meters away from his own house, police quoted his mother, Sherly, who reported the incident to them.

His body was brought straight to a local funeral parlor.
