07 SEPTEMBER 2026 – BACOLOD CITY, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL. Philippine Statistics Authority – Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office conducted a Quiz Bee as part of the celebration of the 13th Anniversary of the Philippine Statistics Authority.
The activity provided participants with an opportunity to test and demonstrate their knowledge through questions covering Statistics, Gender and Development, PSA programs and activities, and other relevant topics. It also encouraged critical thinking, active participation, and camaraderie among the participants.
After a series of challenging questions, Perlie Jean M. Ibañez emerged as the 1st Place winner, followed by Kert C. Diaz in 2nd Place, while Raquel Vallecillo secured 3rd Place.
The Quiz Bee served as an engaging learning activity that complemented the anniversary celebration, allowing participants to enhance their knowledge of statistics, GAD, and the PSA’s mandate and activities.
The activity likewise provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their knowledge and skills in a friendly competition, contributing to a meaningful and enjoyable celebration of the PSA’s 13th Anniversary.
