BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Officials here are thankful after all remaining persons under investigation confined in a government hospital tested negative for the nCoronavirus now designated by the World Health Organization as the coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

“This is good news, thank God,” Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran told DNX after it was confirmed that the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital has discharged the remaining three PUIs that included a 59-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy.

CLMMRH chief Julius Drilon added in his bulletin all three patients were “discharged in stable condition and with no complications during the course of confinement.”
