BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A skeleton believed to be that of a man suffering from a nervous breakdown was found by a worker cutting grasses in Binalbagan, a town an hour south from here as police arrested a man, 19, suspected for attempted homicide in Bago City.
Blotter reports sent Camp Montelibano showed the Bago Police reported the arrest of Agustin Verdin around 9am yesterday in Weber Village in Brgy. Bacong for the crime of attempted homicide.
He is now detained by police.
Further south, in Binalbagan town, the father of a man told police the skeketon found inside a sugarcane field in the sitio of Omot in Santol village.
The father, whose name was redacted from the blotter, said his son was suffering from a mental breakdown.
Meanwhile in Murcia town, the card game known as tong-its led to the arrest of Estelita Donguines, 69,and Teresita Pitallar, 63 who were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Zone 2.
