Case investIgator, Police Staff Sergeant Roberto J. Jibala Jr., told DNX they arrested Arlene Laya-og Arnaiz, 26, at her house around 7 pm yesterday in a buy-bust operation led by Station 8 chief, Police Major Charles Gever.
Jibala said they arrested the suspect even outside the station’s jurisdiction as she had been the subject of an ongoing surveillance operation over the past several weeks.
Jever reported the recovery of one big heat-sealed plastic sachet and three knot-tied ice wrappers filled with suspected shabu, all estimated at 270 grams, the P5,000 buy-bust money, and P3,000 suspected proceeds of Arnaiz from the sale of drugs.
