Nightout turns sour in Bacolod bar

BACOLOD CITY – He didn’t know what hit him.

Or more accurately, who.

What started out as a night of fun turned sour — no thanks to a beer bottle shattered against an unwitting person’s noggin, a blotter report from Station 3 said.

The report said that Henry Joseph Octava was dancing along with his friend Alfred Sinas and the latter’s live-in partner Meraluna Lozada at MO2 Ice.

Then, another bar patron bumped into Octava, causing him to fall. While he was down, he was hit on the head with an empty beer bottle, causing injury. Octava had to be rushed to the Riverside Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile in a local pension house an alleged theft happen.

Ma. Isabella Guanzon reported to Police Station 2 to put into record that her P3,000 cash was lost in her rented room at Pleasant Traveller Pension house, located at 13th Lacson Street.

A still unidentified person apparently entered her room and took the cash.
