Man with bloodied face found dead

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A 70-year-old man, who relatives said is an alcoholic and mentally ill, was found dead with a bloodied face in a grassy spot in the neighboring city of Silay.

Police reported the fatality, Noli Sibingga, was found around 6pm yesterday, 11 July 2022, on a grassy lot in Abo-abo, a sugarcane plantation in Bagtic village where he also lives

Police added their initial probe showed the victim had no wounds on his body and the blood on his face could have come from his nose and mouth.

The victim was immediately brought to Teresita Locsin Jalandoni Provincial Hospital where doctors declared him upon arriving.

Police are still waiting for the autopsy report to confirm Sibungga’s cause of death.
