BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A 31-year old man has been arrested for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition in Bacolod City.
The suspect was identified as Felix Arnaldo Feria, a resident of Feria St., Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
In a police blotter, the Police Station 2 received a complaint against Feria for allegedly ‘taking advantage’ of a certain Mary Flor Salonoy who was on board a Honda Civic car driven by the suspect. The police immediately responded and flagged down the identified car.
The police found, in plain view, the firearm at the dashboard of the vehicle.
Recovered from the suspect’s possession and control were .45 caliber pistol loaded with ammunition and three pieces live ammunition.
