BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – The limited number of negative pressure isolation rooms in a government-run hospital here is not a cause for worry.

Physician Grace Tan told DNX other rooms can be converted to serve as rooms for patients confirmed to have been infected or under investigation.

What is important, she said, is a trained staff and protective gear for medical personnel who will look after the patients.
Hospital chief Julius Drilon told DNX while the rooms are limited, the staff of the hospital are highly-trained to look after PUIs or actual confirmed cases.
