BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Camp Delgado has ordered a major reshuffling of police commanders here ahead of the anticipated retirement of city police chief Thomas Martir, a reorganization affecting four territorial stations and several other major line units of the City Police Office involving nine commissioned officers.
The order approved by Martir took effect on 13 February 2023.
Four police station chiefs here were reassigned to different office as ordered by the Philippine National Police Region 6 Office effective yesterday 13 February 2023.
A total of nine police officers were reassigned to different offices and stations as indicated in the order approved by City Police Director Thomas Joseph Martir
Major Ramel Sarona was transferred to head the Traffic Enforcement Unit from his previous assignment as Station 1 chief.
Sarona was replaced by Captain Elmer Bonilla from Station 7 who was, in turn, replaced by Captain Eduard Bolivar, previously from Station 3.
Major Ritchie Gohee meanwhile was assigned to lead the City Police Strategy Management Unit and was replaced Police Captain Greeky Cayao as Station 4 chief.
Major Joery Puerto, meanwhile, was relieved as Station 8 chief and was designated as new head of the City Intelligence Unit as Captain Glenn Montaño replaced Puerto as Station 8 head.
Puerto, Bonilla and Sarona said there will be more adjustments to make but they, too, will take the challenge.
