BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Two gunmen shot dead another businessman here, only four days after Filipino-Chinese trader and money lender Roland Tan was murdered.
The latest killing, local police spokesman Lt. Col. Ariel Pico said was “drug related.”
Randolph Arguelles Domingo, 38, was shot at least five times with a pistol and most found their mark on his head, Pico told DNX, citing initial probe results of Station 9 investigators.
Domingo had just urinated on the roadside in front of a gas station when the killers struck.
He was shot as he was crossing the southern nation highway in the village of Sum-ag.
Responding police found seven spent shells for .45 caliber rounds.
Pico said Domingo could have been tailed by his killers when he went to Sipalay City then to Cauayan town and back to here.
