Two wounded in La Castellana robbery hold up

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A ruse-cum-robbery involving a banana trunk has led to the wounding of two residents of La Castellana town in sitio (subvillage) Lapak, barangay (village) Robles this morning, 10 am.

The victims of the robbery hold-up were identified as Shaem Job Galimba, 34; Chona Galimba, 60; Katrina Aliermo, 31; Ma. Fe Monticina; and Shana Zaylah Galimba, a minor.

Reports from the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office reveal the victims were riding in the vehicle driven by Shaem Job along the roads of Lapak when a person carrying a banana trunk blocked their way, forcing them to stop.

Four armed people then came towards the victims and started shooting them, and took their money. Two of the victims were wounded, although the police did not identify who.
