Three dead in one day in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental – Three were reported dead in the province in only one day, 18 August 2022 – one in a shooting incident, another with cancer died by his own hand, and one of cardiac arrest.

Camp Montelibano reported Clint James Tomazar, 30, was shot 8am yesterday, as he was going out of a local mall along Burgos Street.

Police reportedly found Tomazar lying on the ground, bleeding from the head after being shot by the still unknown killer.

The police report added Tomazar had reported he was being followed by someone prior to the incident.

He was reportedly brought to the Hinigaran Medical Clinic where he died of his wounds

Further south, in Isabela town, police reported the death of a man, 74, whose body was found around noontime hanging from the ceiling of his house in the village of Sikatuna.

The grandson of the victim, whose name is being withheld by DNX, reportedly found his body with a rope tied around his neck.

The report added a suicide note said to be written in the victim’s handwriting in which he said he had Stage 4 colon cancer.

Meanwhile, in the north, Jonathan Celeste, 46, was found dead inside a tanker truck he was previously driving in Hillside Village 2, Sagay City.

Celeste was reportedly brought to the emergency clinic but was declared dead on arrival due to cardiac arrest.
