BACOLOD CITY – Suspected high-value target Mohaisan Magondacan who police arrested here yesterday expressed shock over the recovery of suspected shabu worth 1.2 million in a buy-bust operation at his home, November 24.

“I was confident they could not find anything, I even said that to my mother who was about to faint,” Magondacan told DNX in Hiligaynon.

It came as a surprise to him when one of the policemen recovered from a room in his house the alleged contraband.

The blotter report lists the following recovered items: one black pouch containing four pieces elongated heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, and 20 pieces big heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets. All allegedly contain shabu.

“I don’t have any idea about what they are accusing me about. All I know is they were just looking for me,” Magondacan said when asked for comment about the case to be filed against him.

Police said he will be charged for violation of Art. 21 of RA9165, the law on illegal drugs, that refers to the custody and disposition of confiscated, seized dangerous drugs.
