Silay police nabs grandma meth supplier of Bacolod, northern Negros pushers

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Police in Silay City seized an estimated P1 million worth of suspected meth from a grandmother believed to be a supplier of shabu peddlers here and those in the near north of this province.

Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, chief of the neighboring city about 30 minutes north of here, said told DNX Mary Ann Lim, 58, disposes between one to two kilos of shabu a day and “sometimes even more.”

Darroca added they have monitored Lim for some time and found out shabu pushers here and those in Victorias City and EB Magalona town get contraband from her.

Anti-narcotics operatives of the Silay City Police nabbed Lim on 1 March around 4:30pm in the community of Ipil-ipil in the coastal village of Mambulac.

She will be charged for violating Philippine anti-drug laws.
