BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines — Did he or did he not?
That is the question.
Or at least that is what the authorities are trying to get to the bottom of involving a call center.
The incident involving a call center agent who allegedly fell from a roll-on, roll-off (roro) vessel is currently being investigated by authorities especially since the incident has been denied by the vessel itself.
The report is now currently being verified according to the maritime command investigator.
Police Chief Master Sergeant Remo Ationg said the vessel company denied the incident in their manifesto as further investigation and verification is still on going.
The victim was identified as Michael John Balsomo, 28 year old, a call center agent based in Iloilo and a resident of Ilog town Negros Occidental.
Balsomo boarded the roro vessel from Dumangas port going to Bredco Port in Bacolod City when the incident happened.
Police Station 9 deputy chief Police Lieutenant Edgar Allan De Guzman said fishermen saw and rescued Balsomo and brought him to Pta. Taytay village.
Lt. De Guzman added that Balsomo told them he fell off while he was standing near the railings of the roro but no one from the vessel saw and noticed the incident.
The victim is now in a stable condition and was claimed by his family members from the custody of the authorities last night.
