BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Six slabs of premium brand chocolates landed a man in jail after he was caught allegedly stealing these from a grocery store where he works in the neighboring city of Talisay.
The Talisay Police said in a report to Camp Montelibano that guards nabbed
Ronald Moveres, 22, a merchandiser working in Savemore Market.
The police said guards told them Moveres, a resident here in Singcang Airport village, was seen putting inside his jacket’s pocket six pieces of the popular Hershey’s brand in a grocery aisle while he was on duty.
The chocolates were worth P339.
He will be charged with qualified theft.
