Froshy drug peddlers lose freedom in Freedom sub-village

BACOLOD CITY – Romeo and Rovilma, not Juliet, two freshly-minted suspected drug peddlers lost their liberty in a sub-village here called Hilway or “freedom” in Hiligaynon.

The Drug Enforcement Team of Police Station 6 led by Police Capt. Elmer Bonilla nabbed Romwo Mahilum and Rovilma Besanes, 33, in a buy bust operation around 6pm today, 9 January, in Village 22.

The police added the two are “newly identified” drug peddlers from whom suspected shabu in plastic packets worth an estimated P25,000 was recovered.
