BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The suspected meth worth P13 million seized by policemen in an urban village here were passed off as milk and cereals from Manila, the police said a day after one of the biggest drug bust took place here.
The suspected shabu placed in boxes were seized from a house at Scorpio St., JR Torres Subdivision, Singcang-Airport village.
Aside from suspected shabu, police confiscated the P1,000 marked money, the P14,000 boodle money, and cash proceeds of P29,000.
Police recovered the seized suspected shabu from house helper Shiela Mhary Balarao, 34; and live-in partners Regine Arroz, and Jun Mark Ibe, both 28.
The three are currently detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 8 for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
