BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC) assured the public that it follows the proper guidelines in handling Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) patients.
In an advisory released by the hospital, it confirmed that a 40-year old male with travel history to Quezon City has been admitted to their health facility.
It said that the “handling of patients from the start of admission up to the present follows the Isolation and Containment guidelines” issued by the Department of Health (DOH) and World Health Organization (WHO).
Galileo Pabalinas, medical director of BAMC said they have allotted COVID19 area that is separate from their general patient area that has its own entrance and exit access, manned by highly skilled and fully equipped personnel.
Pabalinas added that they are taking adequate preparations and precautions to ensure staff, hospital and community safety to maintain the general well-being and clinical safety of their admitted patients, their people and the community they serve.
“We ask you to continue to support us with your understanding, proper information dissemination, provision of our medical supplies and prayers,” Pabalinas said.
