BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Bacolod City will be under General Community Quarantine starting 16 May, Mayor Evelio Leonardia said.
Among the changes include the return of mass transportation, but with restrictions, the guidelines of which will follow those set by the Department of Transportation.
The home quarantine pass would still be applicable, but it is now transferable.
“The HQP will have more than one name and not exclusive to one person,” Leonardia said. The odd-even scheme will still be implemented which means that malls and stores will not entertain those without valid passes.
Social distancing will still be implemented, and the face mask would be a permanent fixture.
Negros Occidental Coast Guard Lt. Commander Jansen Benjamin said sea trips will resume Monday and they will be coordinating with Iloilo for the schedule.
