BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – The World Health Organization, as of 9 February, reported 37,558 confirmed cases of 2019-nCoV worldwide.
Of the number, 37,251 cases are from China with 812 deaths.
Outside China, there are 307 cases in 24 countries.
The death count outside China remained with the death of a Chinese national in the country.
According to the Department of Health, there are 284 Persons Under Investigation (PUIs) in the country as of 9 February, with three confirmed cases.
Last 7 February, 57 PUIs tested negative of the virus.
In Western Visayas, there are 23 recorded PUIs, 18 still under investigation and five were already discharged.
Bacolod remains to be nCoV free.
