Fans or not, almost everyone in the world has been mourning since the 26th of the death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant, 41, with his daughter Gianna, 13, and seven others who died in a helicopter crash.
All eyes are now focused on the family that the late NBA legend has left behind – his wife Vanessa, and his other daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
But before Byrant was able to form an all-female family, the legend was already surrounded by two women who became a very big part of his life.
They are his siblings, Sharia and Shaya Bryant.
Sharia is the oldest of the siblings followed by Shaya, and then Kobe.
They are all less than three years apart.
Sharia lives in Las Vegas with her husband, Jerrod Washington.
She is working as a personal trainer and facility leader at a Fit Body Boot Camp in Sin City.
Shaya, on the other hand, his other sibling, is working as a dining and events manager for ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
In 2016, Kobe decided to cut off his financial support to his sisters.
The decision, instead of creating animosity among siblings, was said to have strengthened their relationships.
In a statement, Kobe believes that his sisters are “very smart and educated women” thus they were able to land a job and take care of themselves on their own.
Sharia stood beside his brother in the year 2013 when the issue about their parents selling Kobe’s memorabilia without his permission, raged.
