BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Different sectors have agreed to coordinate with the local government unit of Bacolod City, and the local Inter-Agency Task Force to address the CoViD-19 situation here.

Bacolod Cong. Greg Gasataya, in his Facebook post, said the LGU last Sunday has requested Department of Health Regional Director Marlyn Concovar to coordinate with the Bacolod City LGU and the local IATF regarding our Covid-19 situation in the City.

Concovar has already furnished the city government with the report of what was agreed on in the meeting conducted between the DOH, the LGU, the IATF, and other concerned sectors because of the rise in positive cases, specifically local transmissions, for 25 and 26 July, as well as the call of the medical community to place Bacolod anew under Enhanced Community Quarantine.
