THIRD UPDATE: Patients 3 and 4 still asymptomatic, had no contact with immediate family

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – COVID positive Patients 3 and 4 have had no contact with their immediate family members after they arrived here 14 April and were brought “directly” to a provincial quarantine facility, the province’s top doctor told DNX.

Provincial health officer Ernell Tumimbang said the two are “isolated” but remain asymptomatic more than a week after they arrived.

Patients 3 and 4 were among the repatriated overseas workers from Cebu City who arrived here via Escalante City from Tabuelan, Cebu 14 April, lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, told DNX.

Both are asymptomatic and have now been isolated in a quarantine facility of the province in EB Magalona town.

Sources also told DNX both are males, one aged 38, the other 50.

The 38-year-old, a native of Silay came from The Netherlands while the other is from Candoni who arrived from Finland.

Cebu City is one of the places in the country that has numerous positive cases, 329 as of today.
