Tagay Boys complete one round of replies, chorus to: it’s an insult to refuse an offer

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – All six Capitol employees, who got into trouble for libations, have sent their replies to the show cause orders issued against them over the 15 July 2022 incident, Capitol’s chief lawyer Alberto Nellas Jr. said.

He also added their reasons were the same: they found it insulting to turn down the offer, similar to that cited by their division head who is also being probed.

Nellas said it may take up to 20 days for the findings of the investigation to come out whether they would be charged or not.

The incident which occured on 15 July 2022 in Victorias City after a meeting that ended early with the agriculture staff of the city where they were invited to drink at a seafood restaurant.

The Legal Office’s initial probe showed the six did not inform the driver, Lemuel Gravino, about their whereabouts nor did they invite him to dine with them.

Gravino waited for a long time before he looked for the six and eventually found them drinking in a diner around 8pm.
