No charges filed vs truck driver in Victorias incident

The family of the couple who were killed in a vehicular accident in Victorias City will not file charges against the driver of the truck that hit them.

Victorias City Chief of Police Lt Col. Joseph Fajardo Jr. said the family of killed couple Alejandre Brotarlo and Queenie Rocaberte who figured in a vehicular accident yesterday in Victorias City will not file a changes against the truck driver Juanito Panes Jr.

Fajardo said that the parents of Brotarlo, who was driving the car that the truck hit, has executed an affidavit of non-interest to while the family of passenger, Rocaberte had already made a settlement with the truck owner.

The truck driver meanwhile had no injuries and was already released from the custody of the City Police after the 18 hours reglamentary period had lapsed early this morning, 19 April 2022.

Fajardo said the victims were riding a Honda Civic and was heading to Victorias. Brittany was driving fast, lost its control and overtook the lane where the truck was heading.

The two victims were rushed to the hospital but were declared dead on arrival.
