BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Health authorities here say the city has recorded a 91.47 percent recovery rate from the coronavirus disease.
The records of the City Health Office showed a total of 4,355 individuals have recovered out of 4,761 confirmed cases as of 28 October, the CHO announced today, 29 October.
Based on CHO’s latest updates, the city has 11 new cases and 58 new recoveries.
Mayor Evelio Leonardia, meanwhile, thanked IATF Visayas Chief implementer Mel Feliciano and his wife, Mia, for their help in the Covid-19 situation here.
Leonardia said the couple’s help to the city has played an important part in ‘flattening the curve’ in Bacolod.
Earlier, the Visayas chief implementer said that the Covid-19 situation in Bacolod is seen to be more ‘stable’ in the next few weeks.
The city has posted only one new Covid-19 case on Tuesday, the lowest single-day record since March.
