State of the art mobile power substation

ILOILO CITY – MORE Power successfully energizes its state-of-the-art 30/36 MVA Mobile Power Transformer stationed in Molo substation, ushering in a new era of power distribution.

The distribution utility is the first in the country to utilize ABB’s cutting-edge PASS M00 technology, along with other advanced equipment from Siemens, ASTOR A.Ş, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen.

With the new technology, MORE Power’s consumers can now expect more reliable and efficient electricity, resulting in reduced power outages and losses.

Roel Z. Castro, the company’s President and CEO, expressed his gratitude to their partners and re-emphasized their commitment to delivering top-notch service to their customers.

“Our partnership with EEI and Aktif has allowed us to bring the latest technology and innovations to provide the best quality service that our consumers deserve,” said Castro.

The energization of the new equipment marks a significant milestone for MORE Power and the business community in Iloilo City.

In the coming months, the company will start rehabilitating and upgrading the old Molo substation while temporarily using the said mobile substation to serve the consumers in the district.

Castro explained that the new equipment is designed to ensure customers’ access to reliable and cost-efficient power supply, which will contribute to the growth and development of the booming business community in Iloilo City.

The upgrade will also benefit the city’s business operations, with a more stable power supply leading to increased efficiency.
