Lions hold tree-planting in Cansilayan

BACOLOD CITY – Bacolod City Host Lions Club members planted 300 trees and 450 fruit trees at Cansilayan National High School, Murcia, a news release from their Facebook page reveals.

The Lions led by President PDG Bert Layda, partnered with the Philippine Airforce and the barangay council of Cansilayan through Punong Barangay Alan Baliguas.

Layda also turned over the club’s financial assistance for the maintenance of the tree planting area.

Cansilayan National High School principal Loini Torrecarion thanked the Lions for making their school as the beneficiary of the tree planting project.

Also present are PCC Em L. Ang, PP Teresita Hom, PP Lion Leah Garbanzos, Jade Liza Distrito, Winnie Diaz, Junel Ca-agoy Yap, Ana Rica Emie Penaroya and Lourdes Itona.
