BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A labor advocate here has appealed to business owners here to facilitate the filing of applications for their employees for these to avail of government assistance for workers affected by the COVID19 pandemic.
“This is no time for them to worry about the documents they will submit to the labor department,” para legal aide Ronald Ian Evidente told DNX.
Evidente said workers are in need of assistance from the government after community quarantine declarations in both city and province have led to temporary closure of businesses.
