IN FULL: VKFLI Signs Deed of Donation with Victorias LGU

Victorias Kaayong Lawas Foundation Inc. (VKLFI) donated the 2,000 square meters lot and building of the Immaculate Conception Health Center to the Victorias City Government.

City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez with the VKFLI officers and board of directors led the signing of the Deed of Donation on September 29.

In his message, Mayor Benitez revealed that Victorias City Government will allocate 17 million for the improvement of the infrastructure of the health center including its facilities and equipment.

It will soon be renamed Abelardo and Remedios Bantug Memorial Hospital and will be open to admitting patients, especially from the City.

He also shared the City Government of Victorias will partner with non-government organizations for medical missions.

In addition, following Bacolod City, Victorias City will also launch its Comprehensive Health Program.

The Immaculate Conception Health Center was open to the public for 31 years since 1991 and has been serving Victoriahanons through quality health care and other medical services.

The lot where the health center is situated was donated by Abelardo Bantug Foundation.

Present at the signing are the VKLFI officers and board of directors, City Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez, Reeda Bantug representing the Bantug Benitez Family, Councilors Virginia Adorio, Dino Acuña, City Administrator Atty. Lindolf De Castro, City Health Officer Dr. Richard Garlitos, and department heads.
