The Rotary Club of Bacolod, dubbed the 4th longest serving Rotary club in the Philippines, held its 86th Charter Anniversary and 84th Induction of Officers and Turnover Ceremony, with Mr. Myles Joseph Sotelo, FVP and Regional Sales Director of RCBC as special guest of honor, at O Hotel in Bacolod City last July 1, 2023.
Leading the club for RY 2023-2024 is President Michelle M. Medrano, who promised a strong dedication and commitment to the ideals of the Rotary Club of Bacolod and the Rotary International, as the leadership was transferred to her by Immediate Past President Franklin Andre Familiaran.
President Mich and the rest of the officers were inducted by Past District Governor, Edgar Sy while Past District Governor Joe Jay Doctora of Rotary Club of Metro Bacolod inducted the new members of the Club.
The other officers inducted are Marjorie Dino as Vice President , Frederick Anthony de Leon – Secretary, Emily Cuaycong – Asst. Secretary, Mae Eras – Treasurer, Aileen Palma – Asst. Treasurer Pauline Cuaycong and Rudyla Fabelena – Director and Asst. Director for Club Service Projects, Richard Paul Salem and Errolplen Arroyo – Director and Assistant Director for Membership & Club Administration, Israel Salanga and Bea Gilbor – Director and Asst. Director for New Generations, , Steph Pili and Mary Joy Malunes – Director and Asst. Director for Public Image, Edgar Sy – Director for Rotary Foundation and Immediate Past President Franklin Andre Familoaran.
Jason Tupas and Jet PIli – Sergeants at Arms, Joce Glenn de Guzman – Protocol Officer, Bacolod City Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran – Parliamentarian, Jesus Jonathan Avelino – Club Trainer, and Edgar Sy as Club Adviser.
