BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Former Negros island counterinsurgency operations chief Primitivo Tabujara wants a deeper probe into the reported drug use of City Hall employees that was bolstered by the findings in a random test this week that showed 53 job order casuals testing positive for meth and marijuana use.
Tabujara, a retired police general, said before the drug test that started this week, they have been receiving reports from the local police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) about City Hall employees using illicit drugs.
The random screen results showed 21 of the 53 were detailed to the Public Order and Safety Office that Tabujara heads while the rest 32 others were assigned to the Traffic Authority Office headed by Major Junjie Liba.
