DNX Lifestyle: Does it have it all? Inside Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod: Sublime vistas, smart rooms, gourmet delights

Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod offers elegant lessons in geography.

Step inside one of its Superior rooms, spread the curtains and one will be greeted by a view of the sea, the Guimaras Strait to be exact, an almost endless expanse of blue dotted by a few ships making their way to Panay, the island across, or seeking to drop anchor in the private port of Bacolod City.

It is a view like that in Singapore but small and with lesser ships.

By day’s end, one can ruminate as the sun yields to the night in an explosion of colors that must be enjoyed “in the moment” (that is without taking selfies or scrambling for shots), one of the forgotten pleasures of life that must actually be experienced.

Up at their bar, what could only be described as one that has a view to a chill, ruminating can turn more philosophical as it offers a look of both the setting sun in the west and the Marapara Mountain Range to the east – both views a symbol of the universal fact that everything, everything has a beginning and an end – like the days, like life itself.

But this is not about that.

This summer, Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is offering what could only be best described as a tempting offer. (WATCH: City Spaces | Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod)

First the room, the plump shrimp to the hakaw, one of the three types Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod offers that goes for only P4,400 overnight for two.

As expected of an international hotel chain affiliate, a buffet spread breakfast comes free but the smart amenities are what would make the discounted rate truly a steal.

The usual freebies are there, the use of the 24/7 fitness center, and the outdoor swimming pool for adults and kids, and the coffee-or tea-making station, and a mini refrigerator.

More than these, each Superior room comes with LED Internet protocol televisions where guests can mirror cast their favorite videos on streaming services or on which they can play their online games.

Bio threats caused by a pandemic, however, have become a consideration for hotel stays and Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod assures its guests that each room has regular filter changes of its air conditioning vents.

As expected of a smart room, bedside USB charging ports are available for devices with C-type and USB ports, as are reading lights.

This being a staycation spot, however, the Superior room also boasts a workplace with fiber to-room connectivity that it says, “will boost your workation mode.”

And the bed. The bed is made of memory foam that by itself can be reason enough for an overnight stay.

Memory foam? You might ask.

Now this. Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod seems to be the first, perhaps, the only hotel in the city to offer this type of bed.

It is only in international and world-class hotels that one can see memory foam beds that are guaranteed to provide health benefits through more relaxed sleep.

To the urbanite who wants to take a break without straying too far from creature comforts and the familiar, it is also important to note that Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod is right within the SM City Bacolod complex and even has its own access way that takes a guest right inside the mall itself.

The hotel reminds anyone that this opportunity to avail of world-class accommodation is only until 31 August 2022 with blackout dates on 22 to 25 August.

Guests can also avail of P200 off the current promo rate if they book directly through the Park Inn by Radisson website and use the code PIRBTRIP to access the special rate.

For reservations and inquiries, please call Landline number +63 34 706 8880 and mobile number +63917 822 1558 or email.
