Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers through an advisory that power will be interrupted in certain areas of Bacolod tomorrow, 18 September 2020, at 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Areas affected are Mandalagan Feeder 3 namely portions of 6th Lacson St., village 17, 7th Lacson St., village 7, and a portion of 9th Street.
Reason for interruption is the “maintenance activities be conducted to ensure reliability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions”.
This includes “replacement of one 40 foot rotten three-phase primary pole with its primary line assemblies and primary metering accessories”.
Electricity consumers are further advised to turn off electrical switches for safety reasons, and to provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
