Band of peddlers, brothers all fall in Silay

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippine – Police in the neighboring city of Silay reported the arrest of three brothers suspected to be peddlers of meth in an afternoon bust Tuesday, 13 December 2022, in the village of Guinhalaran.

City police chief, Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca led anti drug operatives of the city 26 kilometers north in arresting the Catanghal brothers – Angelito, 56; Jerry, 41; and Edsel, 58 – all living in the same barangay.

Operatives seized suspected meth worth P170,000 from the suspected street level peddlers.
