Banago resident Bacolod’s Patient 9

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – A 65-year-old female resident of Banago is now Bacolod’s Patient 9.

This was confirmed by Inter-Agency Task Force chairperson physician Grace Tan, who told DNX that the latest confirmed case has a comorbid condition — pulmonary tuberculosis.

Patient 9 is currently under home quarantine. Her results came out earlier today.

Members of the IATF are now coordinating with local health authorities on the handling of the latest case.

Both Patient 9 and Patient 8 have no known travel histories.
