BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Bacolod City will still be under Modified General Community Quarantine, according to an executive order by Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
Leonardia, through E.O. 43, reveals that the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases headed by health Sec. Francisco Duque recommended that Bacolod still be among the areas to remain under MGCQ until 30 June, 2020.
Under the extended MGCQ, travel between Iloilo City and LGUs of Region VI and Bacolod City will be unhampered. The following, however, are still “not encouraged to travel” except when obtaining goods and supplies: persons below 21 years old, persons who are 60 years old and above, persons who are immunodeficient, have comordities or other health risks, and pregnant women, or those who reside with any of those mentioned.
All other provisions under the previous E.O. will still apply.
