Grabbed. Raped. Robbed. Stabbed.
This was the harrowing ordeal of a woman, 45, who survived the assault of a rapist and robber in Talisay, the neighboring city north of here.
The police said the woman (whose identity is being withheld by the PNP and DNX as required by law) lived to tell the tale of abuse she suffered at the still unknown fiend.
She narrated to probers she was on her way home Friday last week when her assailant grabbed her and forced her inside a house that was still under construction and where she claimed she was raped.
After the sexual assault, the rapist then stabbed her twice, once each on the stomach and chest.
She also claimed she fell asleep inside the house and, upon waking up the next day, looked for help.
No specific details were made available except that she was robbed of P3,000 in cash and her newly-bought knife used to stab her.
Residents in the area, the police report added, did not see or hear anything related to the incident.
