Power will be interrupted in certain areas of Bacolod Saturday, 12 December 2020.
This is part of the maintenance of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines 100MVA transformer affecting the Bacolod-Reclamation 69KV Transmission Line.
Affected areas from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ASDES-Gonzaga Substation 1 to 6 and Reclamation Substation (Reclamation Feeders: RF1, RF2, RF3, Rf4, RF5).
CENECO reminded consumers that the cooperative owns the distribution lines while NGCP holds the Transmission thus any occurrence that may happen in the transmission facilities is beyond CENECO’s control.
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.
When electricity supply resumes, they are to provide allowance of about 10 to 15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
