Negrosanons led by Hinobaan Councilor Jason Tupas and Pastor Russel Ban led the distribution of face masks to people affected by the eruption of Taal volcano.
Tupas, in his Facebook page, thanked the Negros Occidental provincial government, as well as civic groups like the Rotary Club of Balayan through AG Ian Licip, the Provincial Veterinary Office of Batangas, among others.
Their efforts were able to collect 62,000 face masks in two days.
Tupas told DNX in an earlier interview that the speed with which donors, and sponsors acted to help gives him hope for humanity.
Tupas, along with his friends in the riding community, have been consistently conducting relief efforts in areas affected either by calamity or war.
