A total of 3,943 beneficiaries from different barangays are given their financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development through its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program in four simultaneous distribution areas today.
Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia oversaw the distribution of the financial assistance facilitated by the office of Senator Chrisopher Lawrence Go, to beneficiaries in the village Taculing at the Gonzaga gym today
Of the total number of beneficiaries, 34 families are fire victims from villages 12 and Alijis. Each family receives P10,000.
The other beneficiaries are market vendors from the three major public markets of the city- Libertad, Central, and Burgos, and from other sectors. Each beneficiary receives P3,000 in financial aid.
