Pictures of the Bacolod mayor had been going the rounds of social media showing the chief executive with his gull wing model.
The only Tesla car with gull wing doors is the Model X.
A quick search on the Tesla website shows that the Model X is the most expensive model at $126,490 (P7.5 million) according to the Tesla website.
Other models are the Model S ($109,490 or P6.5 million), the Model 3 ($48,490 or P2.9 million), and the Model Y ($67,990 or P4 million).
Tesla is an electric vehicle company founded and headed by Elon Musk.
Tesla’s first EV was the Model S which is described by car and driver publications as the “first zero-emission, zero-gas, full-size electric vehicle on the market”.
The EVs are marketed by Tesla as eco-friendly and more sustainable than cars with combustion engines.
