BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Queen of all media Kris Aquino, who is currently in the United States seeking treatment for her autoimmune conditions – thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, and Churg Strauss syndrome – has sought the help of her dead brother, former President Benigno Aquino III, as she and her two sons, Bimby and Josh, battled with COVID abroad.
Aquino III or Noynoy died last year and was remembered last February during his first death anniversary.
Kris, in an open letter posted on her Instagram account, also gave an update to her followers, saying: “This isn’t a permanent goodbye, ibalato nyo na lang hanggang malampasan namin itong matinding pagsubok.”
Her eldest son Josh tested positive for COVID last 20 June which prompted her and Bimby to leave Josh and transfer to a hotel.
Both caught the virus later, however.
In the meantime, Kris bade goodbye to her supporters in order to focus on her recovery.
Kris detailed key events to Noynoy in her open letter, including the battery of tests she had gone through.
She added her kidneys and liver are also functioning normally.
Kris also said her supporters will soon see a post from her telling them good news.
