Panda, dinosaur grace campaign trail of indie bet

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Campaign season starts today, a Bacolod politician went to public places with a different campaign approach or gimmick.

Ricardo “Cano” Tan who is running again as Bacolod Councilor brought his famous dinosaur mascot to the streets of Bacolod City as he kicks off his official campaign with a caravan this morning.

WITH A PANDA AND DINOSAUR. Businessman Ricardo "Cano" Tan turned heads today as he went around city streets in Bacolod with mascots representing a panda and a dinosaur on the start of the campaign period for local candidates. Tan is running as an independent candidate for councilor and owns the Campuestohan Highland Resort that features replicas of comic characters and larger-than-life dinosaurs.

Tan also brought a panda mascot on his campaign early this morning at Burgos Street Bacolod City.
