Vendors in barangay Pahanocoy finally have space for their products and wares, thanks to the inauguration of the new Pahanocoy Public Market that was constructed thanks to the efforts of Bacolod Cong. Greg Gasataya.
The market, which has recently been renovated last 26 April 2023, is a two-storey structure.
It is part of a string of public market projects that Gasataya has been initiating and implementing.
Among these are the new markets in barangay Banago, as the ongoing construction of the new market in barangay Sum-ag.
The Pahanocoy market, Gasataya said, is a venue for public vendors to be given a clean space for their wares, as well as convenience for market goers in the barangay.
The congressman also thanked the Department of Public Works and Highways for its tireless efforts as partners in the construction projects.

Wala labot sa aton bag-o nga mga market sa Banago kag Granada kag ang ongoing nga pagpatindog sang bag-o nga market sa Sum-ag, aton ginakalipay nga may isa naman ta nga two-storey Public Market sa Brgy. Pahanocoy. Ginalaum naton pinaagi sa ini nga proyekto nga matagaan sang oportunidad kag mas tinlo kag mas dako nga espasyo ang aton mga vendors kag pumuluyo sang Brgy. Pahanocoy.
Ginapasalamatan naton ang National Government thru the DPWH para sa ila padayon nga pagsuporta sa aton ciudad sang Bacolod.
