OPAV turns over bags of convalescent plasma to Bacolod

The Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV), Department of Health (DOH) – Region 7 and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) – Visayas turn over 20 bags of convalescent plasma to the City of Bacolod, for Riverside Medical Center Inc. (RMCI) and Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC), at rites at the Bacolod City Government Center yesterday.

The convalescent plasma were brought from Sub-National Blood Center for Visayas through DOH-7, OPAV and the assistance of IATF-Visayas.

Convalescent plasma is used for transfusion to moderately ill COVID-19 patients to aid for their recovery.
