BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. informs its consumers connected to Hilangban Feeder 4 (HF4) that maintenance activities will be conducted on November 7, Saturday.
Areas affected from 8am to 5 pm are portions of HF4 including Bacong and portion of Brgy. Ma-ao including portion of Rizal St. (only near crossing Brgy. Bacong), portion of Araneta St. (only near crossing Brgy. Bacong), Prk. Riverside and Pandan I, II, and III, Bago City.
This is to ensure stability of distribution lines to avoid further serious damages that will result to major interruptions.
Reasons are conversion of 46-spans single phase to three phase primary line with its accessories. Installation of 3-50kVA distribution transformer together with its secondary metering and stringing of secondary drop.
Electricity consumers are further advised that, in the event of any power interruption, electrical switch/es should be turned-off for safety reasons.
When electricity supply resumes, they are to provide allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching on all electrical appliances and facilities to avoid power surge.
