NegOcc guv tests negative for COVID

BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental, Philippines – Capitol executive Rayfrando Diaz has confirmed that Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson tested negative for COVID19 based on the results of an RT-PCR test on Lacson who was exposed to a government official who got infected last week.

“He passed the test with flying colors,” Diaz told DNX, sounding elated in confirming the negative results of the sample analysis released by the molecular laboratory of the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City 2pm today.

Lacson and 18 other people had earlier been exposed to an official of the Department of Interior and Local Government who was earlier tested positive for the virus during a 22 January summit on drug abuse.
